I got an email today , that I have to share with you.

Hilary, At Christmas time I asked about your bamboo/silk scarves you had. My son made one for his Sunday school teacher and of course it was well received. He decided to make another one and enter it into the county fair. He made up his own design and we ordered the same bamboo/silk and a beautiful mercerized cotton for the warp. He ended up with the Grand Champion ribbon and Judge’s Choice!! His scarf is going to the State fair now!! (we are in Oregon) I wanted you to know all this happened because of your inspiration. This just blows me away.
Takes me back to when I was starting out, and the only help I had were weavers that I 'met' online. They gave generously of their time, their knowledge, and their passion. Two of them came to be good friends.
I am happy to pay it forward.

I can't say that today was the most productive of days, but I did get some pictures of the table runners I wove off the Gallinger. They are 12" wide, two of them are 24" long, and two of them are 30" long.
Consistency is overrated IMHO.
